About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Graphic Artworker to join our friendly Exhibitions and Design team. This part-time role has been created to support the growing demand for accessible and well-designed 2D artwork across the Museum. You’ll work closely with our Graphic Designer, primarily using existing templates, to produce engaging and accessible visuals for exhibitions, signage, marketing materials and internal communications. This is a hands-on role that includes producing and installing artwork in various spaces across the Museum and Gardens.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with internal teams to meet their day-to-day graphic needs
  • Ensure all outputs follow the Horniman’s access, design and brand standards
  • Carry out regular checks to maintain the quality and condition of graphics across the site
  • Support the Graphic Designer and other exhibitions tasks as needed

About You
You’ll bring a strong eye for design and a can-do attitude, with the ability to manage your workload and contribute to a busy and creative team. You’ll enjoy working both collaboratively and independently, and be happy to get hands-on with artwork installation around our beautiful site.

Key Qualities, Skills, and Experience

  • You’ll have strong 2D artworking skills, including digital design, and a portfolio to show your work
  • Confident using both Mac and PC

  • Organised, flexible, and able to prioritise your tasks effectively
